1. Does the spindle turn freely by hand? If your answer is NO: is the spindle lock engaged? As one customer said, "Turns out the indexing spindle lock was engaged. I have reset the lock and everything is running nicely.Simple fix, but not having touched the lock, I did not think of checking it." Should this fix the braking issue, do not proceed to step 2...
2. TRY a Factory Reset
3. Check White 6-pin molex connector inside the headstock behind the red cover. (PLEASE UNPLUG FROM POWER SOURCE FIRST)
