Occasionally we receive inquiries about the winter temperatures and how it might affect their lathe/drill press. There is no safety risk to operate the machine at this climate; however keep in mind the motors are not protected from the elements. Motors and electrical units maybe/will be compromised by moisture. If you have a DVR, the LCD might not show information correctly whilst the machine will be working; however, the LCD normally has an operation temperature range between 0c/32f-50c/122f.
