The drill press Auto Start feature stopped working.  Things to try:

  1. Try a factory reset
  2. Lower the spindle using the handle, if the numbers on the screen change when the depth changes then go to number 4
  3. If the numbers on the screen do not change, try and remove the HMI and check the connector hasn't become loose
  4. If the plug is securely plugged in and the number does not change, try to perform a depth calibration again (see manual on instructions)
  5. If the depth calibration does not work, and the screen says "linearity error" then you will require a new depth sensor as the cable or sensor has broken
