Newer DVR machines (~2010 and on) are pre-wired for 220V, and the electronics inside are able to detect and accommodate the change in voltage supply. To accommodate the increased voltage, the power plug has to be changed to a 15A rated model. The typical 15A power plug would be a "NEMA 6-15P" which can be picked up at your local hardware store. NOVA does not supply the replacement plug.
Other older DVR machines such as the DVR 3000, XP and 2024 may need additional wiring inside.
