Q: Why does the reset button trip on my 1624?

A: The cause may be the size piece you're turning, and not setting the belt accordingly. For a decent size piece (may vary on wood type), place the belt on the bigger part of the spindle pulley and on the smallest location of the motor pulley the belt; and vice versa for turning something smaller where you may need more speed rather than torque.

This allows the machine to have more torque (turning power) for bigger pieces, in-turn generating less strain on the controller which is the cause of the reset button to trip.
