The new NOVA Vulcan has a unique spindle which combines 2 different systems to hold cutting tools onto the machine.
New spindle is able to hold cutting tools with both Morse Taper #3 (MT3 or 3MT) or a ER32 collet system which makes the Vulcan a ideal for both drilling and milling operations. Further details are described in the attached document.
- There will be some limitations with the new Combined Vulcan Spindle which is highlighted in the second attached document named "Vulcan spindle explanation".
