Tailstock keeper key cuts into black turning knob and rounds over the cut slot this is the 3rd time i replaced ,3 keys ,and 2 turning knobs it would appear to be a poor design..

Can any one help me with a new replacement tailstock from any other co.

I just encountered the same problem. Am trying to get a new keeper from teknatool. I did grind down the legs of the current keeper so it fits lower into the slot and enough catches the groove in the turning knob. Seems to be holding for now. The groove on my turning knob got rounded on the edge toward the headstock.
